JCE Operations

The operational organization of JCE is described below.

Publication

	Publisher
	The Division of Chemical Education, Inc. (DivCHED) is our publisher. It is a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Note the distinction that JCE is published by DivCHED and not by ACS Publications. This allows DivCHED to fully govern the policy of its publications and tailor them to more closely fit the specific needs of its membership. DivCHED appoints a Board of Publication to oversee the publication of JCE. Contact information DivCHED WWW site ACS WWW site
	Board of Publication
	All JCE operations are governed by our Board of Publications of the Dvision of Chemical Education, Inc. Consisting of ex-officio and appointed members of the Division of Chemical Education, the current board members are Diane M. Bunce (chair) Christopher F. Bauer Melanie Cooper (ex-officio, DivCHED Past Chair) Mark Freilich (ex-officio, DivCHED Chair elect) John Gelder Barbara A. Sawrey Barbara Sitzman Donald J. Wink (ex-officio, DivCHED secretary) To execute our mission the Board of Publication appoints an editor to oversee the editorial operations and a publication coordinator to oversee business management. A printer, subscription fulfillment agent, and advertising representative are retained to carry out those duties.

Editorial

	Editorial
	John W. Moore, the current editor of JCE, is appointed by the Board of Publication and oversees all editorial operations for all JCE publications. It is the duty of the editor to set the editorial policy of JCE and to retain a staff to carry out that policy. Contact information Editorial staff

Business

	Subscription Fulfillment
	Subscription fulfillment for the print Journal and JCE Online is managed by Publishers Information Center, Inc. (PIC). Contact information
	Software Orders and Fulfillment
	Orders for JCE Software publications are handled by our staff at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, whose offices are located in the Chemistry Department. Contact information
	Advertising
	Advertising in all JCE publications is managed by our advertising representative, McNeill Group, Inc. Don Serfass is our account resentative. Contact information Additional information
