The purpose of CHEMED-L is to provide a forum for discussion of matters of
interest to chemical educators at all levels.
The CHEMED-L is a LISTSERV list meaning that it provides one
address for mail to be sent and simultaneously distributed to all
subscribers. There are over 1100 participants from around the
world and the membership continues to grow daily.
ChemEd-l is unmoderated in that all messages posted are sent to all members of the list just as they are posted.
The administrator of the list is William P. Halpern, Department of Chemistry, University of West Florida, Pensacola, FL 32514.
In addition, Bruce Toback at OPT, Inc., has established
a CHEMED-L threaded archive at http://www.optc.com/chemed-l-thread. The archive is searchable by subject and is easy to use. The archive
currently has about 3,000 threads, going back to 1995.
