The highest quality QuickTime movies (Sorensen) on the CD-ROM are incompatible with the Microsoft Media Control Interface and thus cannot be used in PowerPoint for Windows. However, there are also slightly lower quality (Cinepak) versions of the movies intended for use with slow computers included on the CD. These movies are compatible with PowerPoint for Windows. They are located in the ElementsCP folder inside the PTL folder on the CD. You can view the Cinepak movies in the browser by clicking "PTL Information" on the opening screen (Start.htm) then clicking "Slower Computers", and "Continue with PTL for slower computers".

When using Internet Explorer 5.5 SP 2 or later under Windows, QuickTime movies do not load properly.
Internet Explorer 5.5 SP 2 and later versions no longer support Netscape-type plug-ins such as QuickTime and now require an ActiveX control.
Download and install the ActiveX version of the QuickTime plug-in from Apple Computer. More information about the problem is available at http://developer.apple.com/quicktime/.
