JCE/MERLOT Reviewed Websites: Mission Statement

Both JCE and MERLOT are committed to improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning through the use of quality online teaching and learning materials. It is our goal to work in collaboration with MERLOT Chemistry to provide chemistry teachers with a collection of quality online teaching resources. To aid teachers in their search for valuable resources, all contributions to MERLOT's Chemistry digital library are peer reviewed. Following MERLOT's model of peer review, trained reviewers assess the site's quality and usability for use in chemistry cirriculum, highlighting the sites believe to be the most effective in teaching chemsitry.
