End-User Licenses for Chemistry Comes Alive!
Several licensing options are available for using Chemistry Comes Alive! Choose the one below that best fits your needs. Contact JCE Software for specific pricing of multiple user licenses.
 
Single User
The single user license allows you to use Chemistry Comes Alive! to produce presentations for your classroom. You may use CCA! as it comes directly from the CD-ROM or incorporate it into your own presentations. You may not use or distribute CCA! or presentations using CCA! outside your classroom.

The single-user license allows personal use of CCA! If you wish to distribute any part of CCA! for use by others (including your students) you must purchase one of the multiple user licenses below.
 
Computer Laboratory (LAN)
The Local Area Network (LAN) license allows you to copy all or parts of a Chemistry Comes Alive! CD-ROM to a single file server for use with a given number of workstations. This license allows you to distribute CCA! or presentations you make that use CCA! to the workstations of a typical computer laboratory. Access to the CCA! software must be restricted to the workstations located in the computer lab.

This license has a one-time fee based upon the number of workstations.

If you wish to distribute CCA! outside of the computer laboratory, you will need to purchase a WWW license.
 
World Wide Web (WAN)
To distribute any part of CCA! outside of a computer laboratory or classroom requires a Wide Area Network license. This license allows you to copy CCA! onto a single WWW server (or other server) for distribution. Access to CCA! on this server must be restricted to the number of users specified either by name and password or IP number authentication.

This license must be renewed annually and is priced according to the maximum number of users that might access the software at one time. The higher the number of users, the lower the cost per user.
 
Licensing by the Megabyte
If you prepare your own presentation materials using only parts Chemistry Comes Alive! and wish to distribute those presentations outside your classroom, you can license only those parts you use.
