Transferring Files from Chemistry Comes Alive!
When using Chemistry Comes Alive! imagery in your own presentation, you will generally need to transfer the video or picture file from the CCA! CD-ROM to the hard disk where your presentation is stored. The pages with the video clips contain the information required to find the video file on the CD. Picture files are most easily transferred using the Save Images File function of your browser.

Transferring CCA! Video Files
The method you use to transfer video files depends upon whether you have upgraded QuickTime to QuickTime Pro. QuickTime Pro allows you to save CCA! video files using a pop-up menu on the movie controller bar. Without QuickTime Pro, you must note the location of the video file on the CCA! page and use that information to find the file on the CCA! CD and copy it to your hard disk using your operating system.

Your Rights to Transfer CCA! Files
As an owner of a single-user license to a Chemistry Comes Alive! CD volume, you are granted the right to make copies of the CCA! video and picture files to your hard drive for use in presentations you develop for use within your own classroom. You are NOT granted rights to copy the CCA! files to other computers or for use outside your classroom. This means you must obtain a multiple user license to allow others to copy and view your presentations on their computer. Multiple-user licenses for use of CCA! in computer laboratory settings or on a campus intranet via a WWW server are available. See the Licensing Information item in the Obtaining JCE Video menu.
