Transforming CCA! Video to .AVI
Chemistry Comes Alive! uses QuickTime video. Microsoft Office applications do not support the playing of QuickTime video within the application. In order to use CCA! video within a Microsoft Office application such as PowerPoint, you must first transform the file into a format that can be used, usually AVI. QuickTime Pro offers a solution to transforming the files via its Export function.

Exporting CCA! Video to AVI Files Using QuickTime Pro
With QuickTime Pro you can use the QuickTime Player application to transform CCA! video to AVI files. Open the CCA! video file with the QuickTime Player application. Choose Export... from the File menu. Choose the Movie to AVI option from the Export pop-up menu. The default options will work fine, but feel free to experiment with other options if you like. Enter a name of the exported file and click Save. The resulting AVI file can now be inserted into Microsoft Office applications as a Media or Video Clip object that will play within the application window.
